This year we are having a Polar Express inspired holiday. The kids will get a few presents but many of their presents will be Polar Express Adventure Tickets. Tickets for hiking, camping, baking, ice cream, daddy daughter dates, tea parties with grandma etc. Things that are fun, memorable and inexpensive. Gifts of time.
In addition to the Adventure Tickets we're going to have a Polar Express Christmas Party just for the kids. I'm going to make tickets for invitations.
You could do passports for different family members to visit or a nice bundle of tickets in a wallet or something.
I'll post activities for the party and more when we are closer to Christmas.
