Invertebrate invasion!
Our kids are studying invertebrates so to bring them into our holiday we are having a love bug theme. The love bugs invaded and are wandering looking for a home. They have plenty of love bug hugs to share. We are going to hide Love bugs all around to find and make our valentine holders into love bugs. Our valentines will be yarn pom pom love bugs as well. For a game we'll play Love Love Bug - AKA Duck Duck Goose and musical chairs to some lovely music. ;)

Use the heart directions but cut only one side in a heart to leave the bottom piece whole. The heart will look like the wings and the whole plate is the body.
