Button Bracelets
These ones are very symmetrical

video tutorial that uses wire bracelet
sew buttons onto a piece of elastic The advantage to this one is the beads do not overlap but if you like that look then the next one is for you...
simple elastic cord button bracelet It is a challenge with the under buttons to find the right size but if you are purchasing buttons you can get enough for the top layer and underneath.
this one uses beads as well and layers the buttons
layering the buttons or adding beads to the top thread turns out really cute. Some of the layering look like flowers. sewing them on looks like it would create a very uniform design that would not shift but it is more time consuming and I kind of like that my buttons are always moving around.
We had some cute ones with layering buttons and beads.
Clay
Polymer clay is a lot of fun to play with here are a few jewelry ideas...
peppermint candy bracelet
We added a little mint oil after baking to give it the proper aroma. We also added green rounds between the peppermint sticks. This one is a cute gift for the holidays.
Fake rocks
lava rock
You can make some fake lava rock beads and use some cool knots between for a cool bracelet of choker.
You can add dried flowers, leaves pine needles to translucent clay and have a pretty interesting natural effect. You could use lavender and add some lavender oil after baking and space with purple beads.
Other ideas...
crimp beads are excellent for a quick and beautiful creation. Use wire for the base of the necklace pick out a pendant and a couple colors/sizes of corresponding beads you can vary size/shape etc. You can do two groupings on one side of the necklace then the pendant at the bottom then another grouping of two on the other side.
wire wrapping little treasures. pebbles, sea glass etc work well with wire wrapping and can be used as a nice pendant.
