How to be miserable

I was in a funk earlier this week & I'm doing better because I went to our Relief Society Christmas Dinner & laughed so hard with all the sisters & had such fun.
I also ran across this book that I read last year and really enjoyed....

How to be Totally Miserable by John Bytheway
An excellent self-hinder book. :)

Some important steps to take to be totally miserable....

Blame everyone and everything: If you could kick the person responsible for most of your troubles, you wouldn’t be able to sit down for a week.

Think about yourself: Be miserable by treating things like people and people like things. “But enough about me … what do you think about me?”

Put yourself down: Happy people know their shortcomings but they don’t sell themselves short.

Put deadlines on your happiness: Happiness is a decision, not a destination. It’s an attitude not an event.

Always want more: The more stuff you have the more stuff has you.

Don’t learn anything new

Don’t laugh or smile: Put a smile on your kisser and someone may put a kiss on your smiler.

Backbite: If you want to be big you shouldn’t belittle.

Sleep too much: Some dream of big things, others wake up and do them. “ I wish I could stand on a busy corner, hat in hand, and beg people to throw me all their wasted hours.

Take counsel from your fears: Fear is that little darkroom where negatives are developed.

Wait for life to happen: Happiness doesn’t deliver. You’ve got to go out and get it!

There are bunches more but you’ll have to get the book to enjoy them. :)
