Love, Love, Love
(Sung to: '3 Blind Mice') Submitted by Daylene
Love, love, love, love, love, love
See how it grows, See how it grows.
I love my friends and they love me.
We love each other that's plain to see.
There's plenty for a big family.
Love, love, love, love, love, love.

A-tisket, a-tasket,
A green and yellow basket.
I wrote a letter to my love,
But on the way I dropped it.
I dropped it, I dropped it,
And, on the way I dropped it.
A little boy picked it up,
And put it in his pocket.

Love Letters Center
Set up a post office & writing area in your home
Heart Stickers, stamps, stencils, glitter pens etc

Read 1 John 4:7-12, 16-21 and talk about these scriptures.
Explain that without love our home is just black and white. There is no color. If we love each other we love God and that brings light and color into our home. Color the “Love at Home” coloring page. Or draw your own house/home these were much cuter at our house.

Red, yellow, orange, and brown.
Note: Drop leaves from above your head as the color is mentioned in the song.
The leaves on the ground go crunch, crunch, crunch,
crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch.
The leaves on the ground go crunch, crunch, crunch.
All through the fall.

Sing when introducing the ladybug counting game

"The Grouchy Ladybug" Lady bug
What You Need:
· Paper Plates
· Paint
· Medal Fastener (brass fastener)
What You Do:
· Give each child two small paper plates and have them paint one as a ladybug. Next have them cut that plate in half Have them paint the second plate as a lady bug with its wings spread. Attach the two halves to the second plate with a medal fastener. Now the wings of the ladybug can open and shut!!!
Ladybug Counting
Spray paint about 85 large lima beans red. That's 78 for the game and extras. When the beans are dry provide fine tip markers (permanent) and invite the children to add the dots. Label each container of an egg carton with numbers 1-12. Store the ladybugs in plastic bag. To use this center, a child must match the correct number of ladybugs in the numbered space.
