Blogging

My Grandmother used to say "That's a pregnant idea."

I think blogging is a pregnant idea. It gives birth to other ideas.

Extended Family Blogs
Over the last 9 years off and on I've collaborated with family and put together a family newsletter. This year we started a family blog. Blogging is so easy. It's better than e-mail because you don't have to worry about memory problems at least on the computers side of the equation the typist I can not speak for. ;)

Ward Blogs
I also just started a ward primary blog. As primary secretary I thought this would be my domain so hopefully it will be helpful. I posted a bunch of stuff for our sacrament presentation and hopefully we'll use it in other ways to support our ward.

The idea is only the seed. I hope it grows.

Personal

Blogging is a great way to journal and write your family history while keeping in touch with family. It's also a great way to share ideas. Being a stay at home mom or a homeschooler doesn't mean working in isolation. If we share we can benefit from one another's experiences and encouragement. If you don't have a blog I hope you start one. ;)
